This past week, Mamie Ruth went to Miami Swim Week and presented their resort and swim collection with Flying Solo. The show was a colorful, eclectic, and vintage-inspired representation of the brand aesthetic. "I want the show to be as fun to watch as it is for the models walking the runway. Our clothes are about making people feel good and having a good time and this collection embodies that vibe." says the designer of Mamie Ruth, Emily Bargeron.
Emily Bargeron is a high-vibe entrepreneur and business owner from Savannah, Georgia. She spends her time designing for her free-spirited fashion label, Mamie Ruth, and popping up at music festivals to spread happiness and good energy. Her colorful collections and "fest-dressed" designs make people feel good, which is why she has been voted Savannah’s best fashion designer for six years in a row. She is a Seventies love child at heart, with next-level hustle, who creates unforgettable experiences around her signature style: East-Coast-cool clothes with soul. Emily will be joining hosts and executive producers Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn as a contestant on Season 3 of Prime Videos' Making the Cut.
Flying Solo Co-founder Elizabeth Solomeina, interviewed by The Knockturnal, said “Designs have to be original, that is first and foremost, they also have to stand out as we like to surprise our customer. We like to have items that you can’t get anywhere else as stylists love those pieces for their shoots. We also look for something that is not mass manufactured,” (Vasu).
