Mamie Music Monday 1/13
It's been super cold here in the south lately, so this week we are featuring the reggae-rock band Passafire from our own Savannah, GA in attempt to warm things up! The original members of the band met while in school Savannah College of Art and Design and throughout the years have become a perpetually touring band playing hundreds of shows a year with bands like Matisyahu, Slightly Stoopid, Michael Franti, The Wailers and many more. Their most recent album, Vines, was released this past November and debuted at number one on the Billboard Top Reggae Albums chart! Their sound is rockin' with a hint of reggae scattered here and there to mellow things out - think 311's style. Check out the links below to learn more, have a listen, and catch a show near you!
