C O A C H E L L A

Last week we packed up our feathers and fringe and made the trek to the desert for the most fashionable music event in the country… COACHELLA!  After a quick trip across the country we landed at LAX and headed to scoop up our RV aka our mobile closet for the weekend.

We hopped in our 25ft home and followed every other middle aged American in LA to Indio Valley, CA.  After the 4 hour nail biting trip into the desert (did I mention we had never driven an RV before….yeah) we arrived at our beautiful lake-front oasis called Lake Cahuilla campground.  We arrived just in time to see the neon sun setting over the mountains.  That was our cue to pop some bubbly and hop the shuttle to the polo fields where the music goes down.

We made our way into the festival  and found a spot near the main stage in VIP to rock our faces off for AC/DC….and we danced and danced and danced…and we kept dancing and they kept rocking and rocking….

Good night day 1, good morning day 2....
After a leisurely morning on the lake we threw the entire contents of our suitcases all over the RV
and found the perfect day two outfit.

On Saturday we headed to the Pandora Invasion Party with Questlove throwing down jams from the DJ booth. We sipped well poured cocktails while tinkering on a see-saw with strangers who became friends.

After a few parties we headed back to the festival to jam out to sweet tunes and eat giant slices of watermelon.  All smiles ahead.

Our hearts were as happy as our watermelon grins!

We met up with the awesome girls of Wild and Free Jewelry + Paulina Perrucci photography to dance to Kaskade's set.  As the sun went down we got turned up!

The days were filled with nothing but blue skies and rainbows.  We headed out to a gorgeous private estate in Palm Springs for the Sabo Skirt party with Flash Tattoos.  Beautiful people, beautiful scenery and amazing landscapes. Can we go back now??

When you're surrounded by music, palm trees, and mountains, its nearly impossible not to dance.

H&M had a pop-up shop in the festival with a ton of awesome virtual reality games and happenings. Very cool.

Alongside AC/DC, Our favorite performance had to be Florence and the Machine. Not only is her voice the most powerful, she is the most energetic performer and we were glued to her entire set.

Heading out of the valley.

Work hard...play hard. We spent some time in LA fabric sourcing and gathering

inspiration for the upcoming collection.

See you next year Coachella.
